Risk assessments

Tea party setting (Bethany's house)

Risk-
  • We are using props in this location, and something like the teacups could smash and cut someone.
  • We may get the model to do things such as pose whilst standing on chairs. She could fall off while doing this and hurt herself badly.

How to prevent-

  • To prevent the teacups from smashing, we should be extra careful with them and only pick them up when they are being used in a shot.
  • To prevent the model from falling off things like chairs and hurting herself, we can make sure that we only do this in places where she will not fall onto a hard surface so she will be less likely to hurt herself.

Risk -
  • The lights could over heat and malfunction
  • The lights could get too hot and we could burn ourselves on them.
  • Some of the equipment could fall over and hurt someone.
  • Someone could trip over the wires.

How to prevent-
  • We wont use the lights too much, and will turn them off when we're not using them
  • We will wait till they have cooled down to touch them or pack them away.
  • We will make sure to move carefully around the equipment, and set it up so it's not in anyone's way.
  • We will make sure that all wires are not in the way of any walkways and that they are group together and therefore less of a hazard.
