I think that this image shows what I was trying to convey with the 'mad hatter' part of the shoot as it's quite different and quirky in comparison to the rest of the images. it has an unusual composition which I feel captures the mad hatter feeling perfectly as he is quite a strange character anyway. I think it would be suitable to use for a 'Vibe' ad as it is quite contemporary and fits the brief and message they are hoping to convey. however i do think that this image could be made more effective my the 'drink me' message in the bottle being more visible and in focus.
This image has been took out of focus to create a dreamlike effect as I think it fits the theme and introduces it well. the original photo was quite dark and so I have enhanced the colour and brightness on this image. I added the 'vibe' logo and tag line, and made sure that they were in a colour that went with the image and were in a suitable place so the stood out and caught the viewers eye.
This image was taken using macro photography, so the model's hands are the only thing in focus and therefore the rings-the product being sold- are in clear view. during editing I enhanced the colour on this and made it brighter meaning that the image was more appealing and more clear. I think that this puts across the idea that I was trying to achieve when taking the image as even though its a close up its still recognisable as to who the image is meant to be of because of the costume that is visible
This image conveys the cuteness and innocence of Alice that I wanted to be shown. I think the tea party setting looks very appealing. also the use of the dog makes the image even more cute as the model had something to interact with and this way the viewer will be more interested in the picture and more likely to react.
I like this image as it is very direct. It looks as though the model is sat the way she is just so she can see the camera or the viewer of this image and I think that makes is much more imposing and eye-catching. i think that the colours all complement each other and this image is ascetically pleasing as i planned.
I like this image because I think it conveys the message I was intending to get across. I wanted these images to be quite 'cute' and vintage, but with an added twist so that they fit the magazines slogan 'be different, be you.' I think that the 'mad hatter' looks like she is smoking in this image definitely gives it the added twist I was hoping for. this image is also visually pleasing as the model is off centre which creates the rule of thirds. this also means that the rest of the table is still in view as it is in most of the other pictures, so the audience does not loose sight of the on-going Alice in wonderland theme.
